DEEPENING OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON 5G USE CASES FOR SOLVING CHALLENGES OF SOCIETY (WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON YOUTH/WOMEN/TRIBALS/SELF HELP GROUPS/FARMERS)

 OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT

As 5G technology rolls out around the world, the North-Eastern Region (NER) is set to embrace this next-gen innovation to solve challenges and unlock new possibilities. This project is designed to benefit students, young innovators, community members, and industry partners by:

 · Promoting larger demonstration of the potential usage of 5G use cases amongst stakeholders in NER.

 · Encouraging youth to collaborate with women and tribals of NER to use the existing infra in the 5G Labs to develop new innovative ideas that would help solve challenges faced by society at large in NER.

· Demonstrating technologies across a wider spectrum of beneficiaries and not limiting them to stakeholders in the capital cities.

· Promoting entrepreneurship amongst the youth (especially women and tribals) through use of tech innovations for local development.

·  Helping the bright minds to use the infra of existing 5G Labs to come up with solutions to address SDG 2030 Gaps of NER.

·  Assisting the stakeholders to hone their skillsets so that they can achieve a level of competence where they can compete with not only their peers within NER but anyone in a borderless digital world.

· Enabling an exchangeK of ideas between the youth of NER with talent outside of North-East so that the best outcomes are seen in innovations for NER.

· To attract industry partnerships / retainerships for youths in 5G Lab.
